Cindy Shaffer
Office Manager
Cindy has been the office manager at this practice for 21 years. Prior to that, she spent 20 years in dental assisting after attending Bryman’s Dental Assisting School. She has undergone consistent continuing education for 41 years. When she’s not working, she enjoys gardening, her four grandchildren, and the rest of a large extended family.
Taylor Benko
Registered Dental Hygienist
Taylor is a native Michigander. She has lived here in Houston for over 6 years and is happy to call it home. She graduated from MOTT in 2012 from the dental hygiene program and has been with the practice for five years. When she’s not working, she enjoys outdoor activities like snowboarding, biking, off-roading, and spending time with her dog Karl. She’s passionate about her patients’ oral health and maintaining quality care.
Karina Casco
Registered Dental Assistant
Karina is from Venezuela and earned her dental degree at Universidad Central de Venezuela before moving to the US 9 years ago. Since then, she continued her studies in implant dentistry in Miami, FL, then moved to Houston and obtained her RDA certificate. She has been with the practice for three years. Karina also has certifications and training in nitrous oxide, oral sedation, BOTOX™ Cosmetic and dermal fillers, and CEREC™ restorations. She is married and loves spending time with her family as well as visiting different places, doing exercise, dancing, and travel. She attends St. Merici Catholic Church.
Daisy Rodriguez
Registered Dental Assistant
Daisy is originally from Mexico but was raised in Houston since the age of 2. She has enjoyed dental patient care for the last six years. She is currently a student at Lone Star Community College in the pursuit of becoming a Nurse Practitioner. She enjoys time with her 5-year-old daughter, husband, and two dogs, Chocolate and Vanilla. She is also a patient of the practice and is doing her braces treatment with Dr. Adams!
